My name is Ms. Carter, and I am so excited about serving as Doraville United Elementary's media specialist! This year marks my tenth year in the education field; I have teaching experience in both elementary and middle school. I just graduated in May from the University of West Georgia with my master's in library media science and instructional technology. With the current state of virtual education and to better support my colleagues, I have decided to enroll in West Georgia's instructional technology specialist's program, as well. I hope to bring you the most innovative and relevant instructional tools and resources!

Hello DUES! 

I’m Mrs. Pitts, and I’m the Library Media Assistant at Doraville United. I have a BA in English from the University of Georgia and a Master of Library Science from Valdosta State University. I have several years of experience working in university libraries and more recently have taught elementary and middle school. I am eager to help connect the DUES community with the many resources the media center offers!
